I’m at the Edinburgh Festival this weekend. The city is full of beautiful old tenement buildings with dramatic staircases and I’m staying in one. An opportunity not to miss! Photo by the awesome @scotbadgirl. We’re off for some cider and a show now!

I do feel a bit cheated that in all the years I lived in tenements in Edinburgh, I never encountered anything like this in my stairwell…
